Is it me or is tv getting worse?

Seriously, i can remember when i could watch about 8 hours tv non stop and now i watch about 3 hours non stop in the evenings and if im in during the day, about an hour then. Maybe its because i dont have sky anymore, but i really do think terrestrial/freeview channels programming is getting worse. Then again, we got rid of sky because we only watched a few of the shows, and realized how much money we were wasting a month :-( well, at least i have more 4 and fiver and five USA. And dvds.
